AMANDA ORMOND, PRINCIPAL

Raised and educated in New England, Amanda’s passion for science and the natural world led her to study Environmental Earth Science and earn a B.S. at Mary Washington College in Virginia.

Upon graduation, she moved West, settling in Arizona. In her first job working for a consulting firm she learned project management and customer service. Accepting a position with the Arizona Energy Office, a division of the Department of Commerce in 1987, she worked her way up to appointed State Energy Office Director in 1995.
